This morning brought us one of those perfect early autumn moments that we’ll cherish for a long time. The weather was just right—not too hot, not too cold—making it the ideal time to gather with family, friends, and even our little ones for a special morning in the vineyard.
The sun’s warm rays and the gentle breeze made everything feel alive and vibrant. There’s something profoundly peaceful about picking grapes together at this time of year, surrounded by the beauty of early autumn and the sound of laughter. It’s a simple joy, but one that felt so deeply meaningful today.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5 (NIV)
As we walked through the rows of grapevines, this verse kept resonating in my heart. Watching the children reach up for the grapes, their faces lighting up with each successful pick, reminded me of how we, too, rely on our connection to something greater—God, the true vine. Just like these branches depend on the vine to bear fruit, we depend on our faith to nourish and sustain us through life’s ups and downs.
